LED Projector Headlights
A projector headlight is not a plug-and-play bulb: some models drop into the existing lamp, and others need the lamp housing opened. This page shows both types, with the beam pattern of each.
A projector upgrade changes how a car looks at night, and buyers who ask for one usually know what they want. This page helps you choose the beam type and the amount of work involved, then quote the order.

Four beam types

Look at the cut-off line first, then the brightness
A projector is bought for beam control. If the cut-off line is not sharp, extra brightness only means more glare for oncoming drivers. We list the beam type for every model so you can compare them.

Projector or reflector?
Projector lens
- Focuses the light into a controlled beam
- Sharper cut-off
- The lamp housing must have room for it
Reflector bowl
- A reflector bowl spreads the light
Cooling decides how long an LED bulb lasts
An LED turns most of its power into light, but the rest becomes heat, and heat is the main enemy of an LED bulb. How a bulb sheds that heat decides how long it keeps its brightness.

Aluminum body with a fan
Y-series lens headlights (aluminum 6063 with oil-retaining fan); S-series cup lenses (temperature control and fan).

Copper pipes
X02 (two copper pipes), X01 (three copper pipes); Y2D, Y3 and Y5 Pro (copper tube).

Copper base plate
S01.
How to install
Fitting an LED bulb follows the same steps as changing a halogen bulb, with one extra job: finding a place for the driver or heat sink.

Switch the lights off and let the lamp cool.
Open the lamp cover and remove the old bulb.
Check there is room behind the lamp for the heat sink and driver.
Fit the LED bulb and plug in the connector.
Fix the driver in a safe spot, close the cover, and check the beam on a wall.
Rules, sealing and documents
Is it road-legal?
Buyers often ask whether LED bulbs are allowed on the road. The honest answer is that it depends on where you are. It depends on the country and on the lamp it goes into. Different markets use different rules, such as DOT in the United States and ECE in Europe. Check the rule for your market before you order. Selected models hold an E-mark approval (ECE R10, electromagnetic compatibility). See the certifications page for what each document covers.

Waterproofing
Headlights and fog lights live in rain, spray and dust, so sealing matters. Sealing is checked in production with a waterproof test. The IP rating of each model is on its data sheet, available on request. The 3-inch demon eye models are rated IP68.

Size and packing
Packing differs between the Y-series and the S-series, so check it when you plan shipping and storage.
| Series | Packing |
|---|---|
| Y-series (e.g. Y1, Y2, Y3) | Color box about 21 x 14.5 x 6 cm; 20 sets per box (50 for the compact Y1 MT, Y10) |
| S-series | Neutral kraft paper box, 1.5 kg per set; each set has 2 LED lenses and 2 LED drivers |
Who buys projector upgrades
Buyers are owners who care how the car looks and performs at night, and the workshops that serve them. They compare beam shape closely, so a clear cut-off line and honest brightness figures sell better than a big number. If you serve workshops, the direct-insertion models are the easiest to recommend because they need the least work. If you serve enthusiasts, the laser and matrix types are the ones they ask for.
Why buyers choose TUHO projector lenses

You deal with the factory
We make the product in Dongguan, in a 5,000 sqm automated plant with a capacity of more than 5 million units a year. Questions about specifications, changes or timing go to the people who build the product, so you get a direct answer, not a relay.
Checked at every step
Every order passes raw material inspection, an aging test, an extreme-temperature test, a lumen test and a waterproof test, then a full inspection of function, appearance and labeling before packing. Problems are caught in the factory, not by your customers.
Your brand on the product
We can put your logo on the product, the color box and the outer carton, and adjust the color temperature and the socket mix for your market. A private label line can start from one carton.
Quick turnaround
Standard items are usually ready within 1-10 working days, depending on quantity. A custom design can be turned around in as little as 3 days, so you can react to a trend while it is still a trend.
How ordering works
Ordering is simple and you stay informed at every step.
Send your list
The models or sockets, the quantity for each, your market and any branding you want.
Quotation and advice
We reply with prices by quantity and confirm the right model for each vehicle.
Approve samples and packaging
For custom orders we confirm samples, the box and the labels before production.
Production and shipment
We build, inspect and pack your order, then ship from Dongguan.

Bulk orders and OEM
Custom logo, color box and outer carton are supported. The minimum order is one carton: 50 sets for most V-series bulbs and 20 sets for the X series. Honeycomb glass and blue-film glass are available as options on the S series.
